RTA RIDER
ADVISORY - HARBOR FERRY
(Corpus Christi, TX, July 22,
2008) The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority is
continuing work closely with the City’s EOC in keeping a close eye
on Tropical Storm Dolly as she continues moving slowly toward the
Texas coast.
As a precaution, the community is
advised that service for the Harbor Ferry will be suspended due to
the probable high winds for Wednesday, July 23, 2008 with a
possibility of also suspending service for Thursday, July 24, 2008.
In addition, the RTA advises
riders to stay tuned to local television and radio stations, since
they will be informed immediately if there is any change in the
overall service. Residents can also find the latest information by
calling the Customer Care Center at 361-883-2287, or on the RTA’s
website at
www.ccrta.org.
Again, the RTA will continue to
closely monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Dolly and will
immediately notify the media should there be any new information,
reduction or changes in the services.
