  • Where can I buy Bus Passes?

    You can buy passes online, in person at our Customer Service Center at  602 N. Staples Street, our Administration Offices at 5658 Bear Lane, or any participating H-E-B locations. For a list of participating stores, click here.

  • Where do I find paper or electronic schedules?

    Physical copies of the schedule are available at partner locations, including City Hall, La Palmera Mall, Del Mar College, TAMU-CC, and more than 40 other locations. You can also pick up all our paper schedules at our customer service center at  602 N. Staples Street 78401 or our Administration Building at 5658 Bear Lane.

    Regular Fares

    Adult Single Fare $ 0.75
    Reduced Fare* $ 0.25
    Reduced Fare* Off-Peak $ 0.10

    (Reduced Fare* Off-Peak only valid weekdays only before 6 am, 9 am-3 pm, and after 6 pm).

     

    TAMUCC and Del Mar Students and Faculty

    Members of the TAMUCC and Del Mar faculty, staff, and students may ride any of our fixed-route buses for free. Show your SandDollar or Del Mar ID (A current semester sticker is required) to the bus operator.

     

    Premium Service Fares: Park and Ride/Express/Rural Services

    Adult Single Fare $ 1.25
    Reduced Fare* $ 0.25
    #94 Port Aransas Shuttle $ 0.25

    A 2-hour time limit transfer is included with a single fare.Transfer from Fixed Route to Premium Service will require a difference in fare.

     

    B-Line

    Regular Fare $ 1.25
    Surcharge outside ¾ mile ADA zone $ 2.00

  • How do I get a reduced fare card?

    To apply for the Reduced Fare ID Card, click download this form and submit. For student ID applications, click here.

  • Can I use my Medicaid card for reduced fare?

    No.

  • How much is student fare?

    With a valid student ID, the cost of Student Reduced Fare is $.025. Students must present a valid student ID to purchase a Reduced Fare Bus Pass. Students must pay the full fare price of $0.75 if a valid student ID is not presented when boarding the bus.

    What is a valid student ID?

    Current CCRTA Student ID card.

    Current school ID issued by the public, private, charter, vocational, trade, technical, high school, college, or university.

    Need a valid student ID?

    Download the Student Application form at www.ccrta.org and take it to the CCRTA Customer Service Center at 602 N. Staples Street 78401 Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Student IDs are free each academic year with application. If lost or stolen, replacement IDs are $3.

    Student Rider Tips

    Show a valid student ID each time when boarding the bus.

    Use exact change or your Student Reduced Fare Bus Pass and present your valid student ID ready before boarding the bus. For student ID applications, click here.

    A Student Reduced Fare will only be honored when a valid student ID is presented each time when boarding a CCRTA fixed-route bus.

    TAMU-CC and Del Mar Students and Faculty

    Members of the TAMU-CC and Del Mar faculty, staff, and students may ride any of our fixed-route buses for free. Show your SandDollar or Del Mar ID to the bus operator.

  • Does the RTA have a mobile app?

    We have released our TransLoc app, which allows you to track your bus in real-time. Learn more about the app and download it for free on the App Store or Google Play. We are working with a developer to create an online ticketing app, which we hope to announce later this year.
