  • Which other public transportation agencies use the GoPass app for transit tickets and passes?

    • DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) – Travel that begins in the Dallas area of Texas
    • DCTA (Denton County Transportation Authority) – Travel that begins in the Denton/Lewisville area of Texas
    • Trinity Metro – Travel that begins in the Fort Worth area of Texas
    • STAR Transit – Bus transportation in Kaufman County, Rockwall County, Mesquite, and Balch Springs areas of Texas
    • Tulsa Transit (Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority) – Travel that begins in the Tulsa area of Oklahoma

  • How much does the GoPass app cost?

    • GoPass App is FREE to download from Google Play and Apple App Store
  • How do I register when I use the GoPass app for the first time?

    • When you launch GoPass, the app will prompt you to enter your first name, last name and ZIP code.
    • The next screen will ask you to enter your phone number.
      • Press “NEXT.”
    • You will receive a one-time passcode via SMS text message.
    • Enter the verification code in the app and press “NEXT.”
    • You also can register from “Your Profile,” under “More” in the app which follows the same steps.
    • This is a one-time registration process.
  • What should I do if I didn’t receive the SMS text message with the 4-digit code to register my phone?

    • First, make sure you are in an area with good cell service where you can receive SMS text messages to your phone.
      • You may need to contact your service provider to make sure your phone is set up to receive SMS text messages from 5-digit short codes.
    • In some cases, service providers may have message blocking active.
  • Can I use this on my iPad, Android tablet, or other mobile smart devices that are not phones?

    • Yes, but the app will need the device’s phone number to communicate with your device. Since the GoPass app is optimized for mobile phones, the functionality and screen images may differ.
  • What if I accidently delete the app?

    • Download the app again from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
    • Register your name and phone number again.
    • Once the phone is registered, the ‘Wallet’ section will be loaded with your tickets and purchase history.
    • Your profile, if applicable, is also restored.
  • How do I update the GoPass mobile app?

    • Go to the Google Play store for Android phones or the Apple App Store for iPhones and search for “GoPass” to see if an update is available.
    • You should run updates on the GoPass app as they are available to ensure that your phone receives any fixes or new features.
  • What happens to my tickets if I run an update on the app?

    • Running an update will not delete your tickets or pass or change your profile.
    • Your tickets and profile are linked to your phone number, not to the app or your phone.
  • What happens if I change phones?

    • Your GoPass account is tied to your phone number, not your device.
    • If you get a new phone, you will need to download the GoPass app to the new device.
    • If you register in the app with the same phone number, your previously purchased tickets and passes will load into the Wallet section.
    • You may register your phone number in the GoPass app on up to four devices within 180 days.
  • When do I activate my pass?

    • Activate your pass when boarding the bus, and show the pass on your smartphone to the Bus Operator.
      • To activate your pass, slide the button on the bottom of your pass.
    • Do not activate the pass until boarding to minimize the risk of your pass expiring.
