Fee Information

The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) uses rates established by the Office of the Attorney General to determine charges for copies of public records. See fee schedule below for more information.


Request Process

Step 1

Upon receiving an open records request and calculating costs, the CCRTA will send a cost estimate letter to the requestor. The estimate letter will include an itemized statement of any copying, personnel, mailing, or other charges that will be incurred in fulfilling the request.

Step 2

Upon receiving the estimate letter, the requestor has ten (10) business days to confirm that they agree to the estimated costs. If the requestor does not respond to the cost estimate letter within ten (10) days, the request will be closed.

Payment Information

Please make all checks or money orders for completed Public Information Requests made out to Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority.

Please Note

Any estimated costs exceeding $100.00, will require the requestor to make a deposit, before any records are compiled. For more information regarding charges for Public Information, please visit the Attorney General’s Open Government website.

Labor Charges

Standard Labor Charge locating, compiling, manipulating data, and reproducting records
$15.00 per hour
Technical Labor Charge for requests requiring programming or specialized technical work
$28.50 per hour
Note:

Labor charges cannot be billed for requests of 50 or fewer pages of paper records, unless the documents are located in separate buildings or require extensive redaction of confidential information.
