There's Always Room For Improvement

We always have plans for improving, check them out.

2015 Service Improvement Plan

We will implement Phase II of our Long Range System Plan on May 18, 2015. Our primary goal is to improve on-time performance and provide a more convenient experience for CCRTA riders. These changes are based on the community input and feedback we received during our Vamonos campaign and feedback from riders after our recent service improvements.

2014 Service Improvement Plan

We will implement Phase II of our Long Range System Plan on January 5, 2015. Our primary goal is to create a Primary Transit Network that consolidates stops and enhances the amenities that we offer our riders. Before these changes go into effect, we will be holding several public meetings in which you may attend and explore all of our proposed changes and express any concerns you may have. These changes are based on the community input and feedback we received during our Vamonos campaign. Learn more about the initiative and read the report below.

LONG-RANGE PLAN

vamons

The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) spent 2011–12 seeking the community’s input to determine what the CCRTA should look like in 20 years. The result is the Long-Range Plan, which considered master plans for surrounding cities and counties, possible challenges, cost, and people’s needs, as they are now and as they’re expected to change in the next two decades.

We urge you to read the long-range plan even if you’re not a current bus rider. Public transportation affects how people –  friends, family, or coworkers – get to and from work, how outside companies view the area’s efficiency, and how we, as a society, care for the elderly and less fortunate.

We are positive it will answer some, if not all, of the questions you might have about how your CCRTA plans for the future.
