Our System
Our system serves many communities in and around the Corpus Christi area including Robstown, Flour Bluff, Callallen, and more. We suggest that parents or guardians accompany younger students to help them become familiar with the bus system.

We have received national awards for bus security 3 years in a row for our human trafficking awareness, active shooter training, emergency responses, and police presence and use of K-9 units.
Purpose

CCRTA’s buses are safe, reliable, and accessible.
Riding the bus encourages independence and life skills, promotes good health, and reduces our community’s collective carbon footprint.
Eligibility
Pre-K through 12th grade students eligible for fare-free transportation include:
- All public school districts within CCRTA’s service area
- Private schools
- Charter schools
- Home Schooled students
Students must show their Student ID when boarding to receive fare-free transportation.

Riding the bus is one of the safest ways to travel. CCRTA has a police and security presence at transfer stations, on buses, and throughout our system.
