Buc Days 2026

CCRTA will host an accessible viewing area for the Buc Days Night Parade and a fare-free shuttle service to/from the festival.

Accessible Viewing Section

CCRTA will be providing an accessible viewing section available to all individuals with disabilities for the Buc Days Night Parade on Saturday, April 25th.

The viewing section will be specially marked on Leopard Street along the side of the Staples Street Center building.

Special Wristbands Required

Special wristbands are required for all viewing section attendees. Individuals with disabilities (or a family member/guardian of an individual with disabilities) can call CCRTA's Customer Service (Monday - Saturday, 8am - 5pm, 361-883-2287) to schedule a pickup of up to 6 wristbands.

The deadline to pick up wristbands is Friday, April 24th at 3:00pm. Quantities and space limited.

Individuals may place a temporary hold on wristbands by completing the "Contact Us" form below.

B-Line Paratransit Service Available

B-Line Paratransit service is available to transport individuals to the accessible viewing section.

  • Trip reservations must be made 1-3 days in advance of the Buc Days Parade on April 25th
  • Due to traffic congestion and demand, excessive wait times are to be expected
  • B-Line will work with customers to ensure the closest available drop-off or pick up based on closures
  • Pick up will commence following the reopening of the area after the parade end
    • Any pickup trips must be scheduled when the customer books their trip reservations

Viewing Section Rules & Tips

  • Seating is limited to those with wristbands
    • There are no reservations or opportunities to "chalk off" regions within the accessible viewing areas
  • All walkways and access aisles must be clear at all times for mobility devices and emergency access
  • Personal ice chests, hydration, snacks, sunscreen, and shades are encouraged for attendees
  • Alcohol, open flames/cooking equipment, and speakers are not allowed within the viewing area
  • Accessible restrooms are available within the Staples Street Center
    • An escort inside with a CCRTA representative or Security Officer is required
