Mrs. Perez started her career in public transportation in 2005 with Pace Suburban Bus in Chicago, Illinois, working in the Government Affairs department. In 2009, she became Pace’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Liaison Officer (DBELO), a role she held until she joined the CCRTA family in 2016 as their DBELO. With over 20 years of experience in transportation, Mrs. Perez transitioned to the procurement department in 2020, taking on the role of Director of Procurement.
She graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. Additionally, she is certified as an International Procurement Manager by the International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute and as a Certified Purchasing Professional through the American Purchasing Society, where she actively participates as a member.
