Yes! Starting February 2nd, all fares and pass prices will update automatically in the GoPass app, so you won’t need to take any extra steps. Your account will reflect the new rates instantly.
Are B-Line fare and pass prices changing too?
Yes, B-Line fares will also be updated. Please see the information below to view the new rates and details for B-Line service.

If a B-Line customer has an active B-Line 31-Day Pass, fixed-route services are included at no additional cost. Without a B-Line 31-Day Pass, B-Line customers must pay the reduced fare when riding fixed-route services.
If a B-Line rider travels with a Personal Care Attendant (PCA), does the PCA need to pay a fare?
No. A Personal Care Attendant may ride with a B-Line customer at no additional cost when the B-Line customer presents valid PCA identification.
Will 2-hour transfers still be available?
2-hour transfers will still be available but will change slightly with the new fares.
Transfers must be utilized immediately following purchase of base fare.
What counts as valid ID for free/discounted fares?
Pre-K–12th grade Students: A school ID is accepted. If a student does not have one, the school’s office or library can assist with obtaining an ID. If a student still is unable to obtain one please contact CCRTA Customer Service at (361) 883-2287.
TAMUCC Students, Staff, and Faculty: A valid/current SandDollar ID is required to ride for free.
Del Mar College Students, Staff, and Faculty: A valid/current Viking ID is required to ride for free.
Seniors aged 65+: A valid state or national ID may be requested upon boarding to confirm eligibility.
Can GoPass be used on all CCRTA services?
Fixed route, reduced-fare, and B-Line riders can all utilize the GoPass mobile app to buy passes, plan your trip, and get on the move!
Rural transportation services can be scheduled through MV Transportation or Kleberg Human Health Services (Paisano).
Who is eligible for reduced fare?
The Following Individuals Are Eligible For Reduced Fares:
Medicare Card Holders - Anyone with a valid Medicare card
Technical/Vocational College Students - Students enrolled in technical or vocational colleges
Individuals with Disabilities - Persons with qualifying disabilities

"Off-Peak" times are being discontinued.
There will no longer be off-peak fares. All fares will be the same all day.
Pennies will no longer be accepted when paying fare.
Pennies will no longer be accepted as fare. Any pennies inserted will be returned by the fare box.
The Commuter (11-Trip Pass) will be discontinued
Beginning Feb 2, 2026 the Commuter (11-Trip pass) will no longer be availiable for purchase.
All existing, valid passes will remain valid for use.
